Danielle Rottenberg

danielleDanielle has been interested in the field of healing for years. At the age of 25, she started her own non-profit agency where she brought together the healing powers of the arts with people with developmental, physical and emotional challenges. After seeing the benefits of teaching yoga/meditation and relaxation to this population, she became certified as a yoga teacher in 2004 and has been teaching ever since. Graduating from the California College of Ayurveda in 2008, she received her education as an Ayurvedic Health Educator where she is able to educate the community about the principles of Ayurveda and how to incorporate that into your everyday lifestyle. She has studied with Dr. Halpern, an internationally known Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist and Founder of California College of Ayurveda, receiving a certificate as an Ayurvedic Yoga Therapist. Danielle works one on one to incorporate the Ayurvedic principles with yoga asanas, pranayama and relaxation techniques. She also studied with Dr. Light Miller to further her studies in Ayurveda in herbology and Ayurvedic aromatherapy.

In June of this year, graduated as an Ayurvedic Health Practitioner, through New World Ayurveda. She now has over 2,000 hours of Ayurvedic studies. Danielle is also a Pancha Karma Therapist at Blue Lotus Ayurveda in Asheville and Art of Living in Boone where she provides Ayurvedic Therapies such as Abhyanga massage, Shirodharas, and Nasya. She has had a successful private practice for over 6 years now. In 2015, Danielle co-founded a new non-profit called The Yoga Service Movement, where her focus is bringing yoga, meditation and mindfulness practices to those who are unserved or underserved, making yoga accessible to everyone. Danielle graduated from the Asheville School of Massage and Therapy in 2010. As a massage therapist, Danielle integrates myofascial, Swedish, deep tissues, cupping and trigger point therapy.
